How to backup your notes with manual and AutoBackup options
If you have your important information saved in JustNoteIt on your Mac, it is certainly a good idea to have these notes backed up. In this article, we will explain two simple ways to backup your notes.
Auto-Backup notes
Automatic backup is the easiest way to automatically create a copy of your notes without any manual intervention.
To enable the Auto-Backups option:
1. Tap the ⚙️ icon in the top-left corner of the JustNoteIt main window and choose
Preferences
2. Put the checkmark for the Create Auto Backups option.
As soon as the Auto-Backup notes option is activated, the backups will be saved in your User folder every time you exit the app or shut down your computer.
The format of the dated folder name is static and non-localized: YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS.
Each backup folder contains a full copy of notes database including pictures.
With the Auto-Backup Capacity option you could choose the desires number of backups you want to keep.
Manual backup
Manual backups could be created whenever you want. To create a backup file of your notes manually, choose JustNoteIt > Manual Backup and choose the folder where you would like to save the backup.
